Hey, I'm

Gašper.

A Computer Science engineer who stepped away from code to help bring safer, breakthrough medicines to the world. In my free time, I cycle continents and explore the secrets of why we're here.

I started my career writing code. From the start I knew I wouldn't be writing software forever, but I did know that I wanted to help people's lives using it. I studied Computer Science, spent time building and integrating software professionally, and only moved into a consulting role once that foundation felt solid.

Today I work at Metronik as a consultant, working with pharmaceutical manufacturers across Europe. The facilities I work with produce some of the most advanced drugs in the world, aseptic biologics, breakthrough therapies, medicines that reach patients who have no other options. I help them run those facilities smarter and more compliant, so that what is manufactured is safer, more reliable, and made exactly right.

At 25, before life had given me real responsibilities, I got on my bicycle in Slovenia and didn't stop pedalling until I reached Singapore. That took sixteen thousand kilometres, roughly 440 days, mostly alone. I had done it as a test to myself, to see how I react in lands that are foreign, in situations where I'm completely dependent on myself. It's incredible to see how much a person can change under such conditions and in such a short period of time. I came back a different person, ready to tackle whatever comes next.

This site is where I write about what I'm thinking or studying. Feel free to roam around, contact me if you want to share something. I'm always in search of curious minds.
